Charging Issues on iPhone 11 and no network

Is anyone else facing charging issues on iPhone 11 after updating to IOS 14.7.1?

After updating software to IOS 14.7.1, I noticed that my phone doesn't charge even though the lighting bolt shows up on the charging bar when connected for charging. e.g. I would connect the phone for charging at 40% battery life, and even though the lightning bolt shows that the phone is charging, after 15 minutes its still at 40% or even lesser. Even when it charges, its significantly slower than it used to be.

Sometime I need to restart my phone for charging to start working. I've tried several troubleshooting steps like 1) checking to see if USB or charging adapter are working fine, 2) changing charging port/socket to see if the issue is with a particular socket connection, 3) using another cable / adapter. But the issue still persists.

I've found that restarting my phone helps but I cannot keep restarting the phone all the time if I need to charge it. Also, I've notice that the network connection drops sometimes too.

The phone is barely 6 months old. Also, I'm able to connect and use my earphones without any issues so I doubt its a hardware issue and makes me believe it could be software related.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
