Legacy Developer: Unidentified

I have system software blocked from loading identified as, "Legacy Developer: Unidentified". How can I find out more about this software? Frankly, if I were a malware creator, "Legacy Developer" might be a name I'd think to use, although I couldn't find any modules named that way. MacBook Pro 16" (2019); Big Sur 11.5.2

Look in /Library/Extensions, /Library/LaunchAgents, /Library/LaunchDaemons for anything not Apple and see if you can determine what they are.

You should see these non-Apple extensions, but they are installed by Apple:

HighPointIOP.kext
HighPointRR.kext
SoftRAID.kext

The reason it says "Unidentified" is because the developer didn't put any information in their system modification.

This would have been software you installed using an Installer, not just drag and drop or App Store.

You could also run EtreCheck and post the report, here. That would have information on what is installed and where.

Use the Share Report button and Copy Report, then paste into the Additional Text Area (document icon), here.
