iPad won’t charge. Have changed power cord and source and powered down.
If you already tried (to no avail) all the steps provided here:--> If your iPad won't charge - Apple Support, It might be also a hardware (battery?) problem, but we cannot diagnose your issue remotely.
Contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Get Support , or make an appointment and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

As described your battery may require replacement. Assuming that the iPad remains functional, you would be well advised to directly contact Apple Support - and request a remote battery test. The result of the test may better inform your next steps.
You will find the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can open a support case using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:
