My Apple Music app is not working.

my phone seems to work fine, no issues with volume, but my Apple Music app won’t load/play anything anymore. I can listen to podcasts and pandora, but not Apple Music. Any idea how to fix it?

the app loads fine , I can see my playlist and my downloaded music but I try to put one and I just do nothing .

Hi yoely194,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having an issue with playing Apple Music content in the Music app. We're happy to help.

Since noticing the issue have you tried force closing the Music app or a normal restart of your iPhone? If not, check out both articles for the steps below.

Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

If the issue continues, check your iPhone storage and ensure the content is showing it's downloaded: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

You can also double-check there are currently no restrictions enabled preventing you from playing content: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Additionally, you can check your Apple Music sync settings and ensure your iOS is fully updated as recommended here: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music

If the issue continues, let us know if any past iTunes downloads play as expected or if it's only Apple Music content.

Cheers!
