I received this message today from the number +18002752270.
Yes my iPhone has been stolen
I have not trusted the number, so I went to icloud.com directly instead of using the like.
In icloud my phone is still offline.
Do you know if the number and/or the message below is valid?

You did a great thing not trusting the number, and just going to iCloud.com to confirm the status of your phone and account. This text message is what is referred to as phishing. It is not from Apple or related to Apple Find My services.
