Hello ~ Did you have find my activated when you lost your iPhone? Take a look here:

Use the Find My app to locate a missing device or item - Apple ...

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen - Apple ...

Take a look here if you have AppleCare theft and loss:
