iPad (M1) as a second monitor for Macbook Pro/Macbook Air (M1), for EDITING.

Can iPad with M1 chip handle such setup without lag or other difficulties? Years ago ive tried this with Macbook Pro Mid 2015 and iPad 5. gen. with DuetDisplay app, but the performance was not possible for using it this way.

Hi Milan,

If your Mac is running macOS Catalina or later, you can use Sidecar to utilize your iPad as a second display. It's basically the same idea as DuetDisplay, except that you can use certain keys on your iPad and (in some cases) utilize the touchscreen.
