Does Apple watch use steps to determine distance or does it really track distance.
My husband and I have been walking each night and he hits a mile when my watch is only at .70 miles. Something is not right but we can't figure out what. Our gait is definitely different but we go the same distance in the same amount of time. I have searched and I can't find a definitive answer; does it use steps to determine the distance?
