why won't my iPhone turn on

why won't my iPhone turn on its been charging for over an hour I've tried holding down the power button and the volume button but it still won't turn on what should I do?

iPhone SE, iOS 14

  • Press and quickly release VOLUME UP
  • Press and quickly release VOLUME DOWN
  • Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears (15-30 seconds)


The operative word here is QUICKLY
