Gap Between Glass and Body Frame if iPad Pro

Hey guys, I have an iPad Pro 11 inch 2021 model. I recently noticed an approximately 0.4mm-0.5 mm gap between the glass and the aluminium body frame at the edge of the iPad. It is visible on the top edge and the right edge only and is pretty straight (meaning it occurred at the time if manufacturing and not due to later bending because of my handling). Is this gap normal? Some people say that it is a tolerance gap that is provided so that sceens don't crack when they expand due to heat and this gap is quite normal. Other people say that their iPads don't have it therefore it is a defect. I noticed this gap in my iPad only when some dust got stuck into it and it has bugged me ever since. Is this a manufacturing defect or is it normal? Please do respond and search your iPad Pro for this gap if you can... Thanks

iPad Pro, iPadOS 14

There should be NO gaps!

iPad screens are completely glued down, sealed up around all edges.

There are NO gaps for alowing any material expansion/recession

You are going to have a hard time proving that this is/was a manufacturing defect, IF you have had this iPad for some time.

If your screen came loose AND you had the foresight to purchase extended, two-year+ AppleCare+ and the paid warranty is still valid, you maybe entitled to another replacement 11 iPad Pro with a small device replacement feee of $49 U.S.D.

You need to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Apple iPad diagnosed and options presented you.

Failing that,

You need to contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.
