Error 4010

I tried to reply to that issue but I guess i have to ask a question first since I'm new to this community.


I keep getting error 4010 every time I try restoring my iPhone 8. Turns out I was too far away from my router, and there was a lot of traffic between my laptop and router. If you're on wifi, try moving as close as possible to router or try using an ethernet cable for devices such as desktops.

Sorry to hear this


If you are using windows make sure it is up to date, Security firewalls can cause this error also - make sure to allow iTunes in or turn off the firewall for now
