Logged in as Admin, I created a new user account to try to sort out multiple iCloud ids. I have the issue repaired and I want to remove the account. I go to System Preferences, Users&Groups, as Admin, and I can see the other user account. I've unlocked the lock that prevents changes. However, all the "Other Users" on the list are greyed out and cannot be selected to delete. Any ideas?

I always have an extra admin account for emergencies, but are you sure that account is signed out?
Try it in Safe Mode if you still want it gone...
Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes.

Thank you thank you! The switch does not sign out of the account, even though you login on the next account. So the account I wanted to delete was still active. Once I logged in and properly logged off, I was able to remove the "Other user" account. Thanks!!
OK, all Safe Mode does is...
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions.

Yes, the account to be deleted is signed out; only one account can be active at a time and I'm logged in under the Admin account. I'd rather use a standard process or understand what is happening, over messing around blindly in Safe Mode. I'd want to do more research before doing that.
