Apple watch won’t accept my new Apple ID

Hello I need help with my Apple Watch I had it connected to my old phone and the phone broke so I got a new phone and had to start a new Apple ID but it won’t let me pair my Apple Watch

You have to remove/unpair the watch from your old phone first.
