activation lock on new watch

i have just bought a new apple watch 6, it will not let me join it to my phone / icloud, just tells me Incorrect Apple ID. i have nothing else connected on i cloud, i have changed password through icloud and restarted phone, find my phone is switched off, just nothing works!

Apple Watch: Stuck on activation lock I have erased my apple watch from my device and sold it, now it is still requiring my account and stuck on activation lock. Apple Watch activation lock saying I put invalid information in. So I’m trying to reconnect my Apple Watch to a new device, and it’s telling me there’s an activation lock. I put in my iCloud and password, and it’s telling me I put in invalid information. I rest my phone a watch thinking that’ll help an it hasn’t. I put the same information in to long back into the phone put when i get to the activation locks it still say invalid information.

I you just bought a new watch 6 and it has an activation lock on it then it isn't a new watch,somebody put that activation lock on the watch and only they can remove it.

Return it and get a refund.
