Can I return an item I brought online in store?

Ordered an Apple Watch solo loop but it isn't my size and I'd like to exchange it swiftly in store since I can do that quickly compared to an entire return/refund thing. Can I do that or do I need to do return online? I know it says 14 days but it says that if you have purchased from an apple store and not online.
