IF you are not using iCloud Messages (Settings > (Your Name) > iCloud > Messages = Off) and IF they are in your latest backup you can restore your iPhone from that backup. You will lose any data added since the time/date of that backup. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

I'm assuming you deleted the text messages?

Go to Settings > Your Name, iCloud, etc.

Tap iCloud

Are Messages turned on (green)

If yes, and the messages were deleted they are gone and cannot be retrieved.

If no, and you have a backup made from before the messages were deleted, you can restore your phone from that backup, but your phone will be restored to the date the backup was made anything from after the backup was made will be gone.
