Someone’s else watch has access to my apps

How someone’s else watch can have access to my apps and WhatsApp? My co-worker just bought a Chinese watch that doesn’t have the option to paired with any phone but for some reason looks like got paired with mine because she receives notifications from my Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. The weird part is that it happens only when I walk next to her.

Hello denissezaracho,

It sounds as though third-party app notifications are appearing on a co-workers third-party watch. Apple takes privacy and security of your information very seriously. More information about their view on privacy and security can be found using the following link.

In reference to the notifications showing on that third-party device you may want to update the security features and passwords for those specific applications. If you need assistance with changing the passwords to those account or reviewing additional security features the apps may offer, it would be recommended to contact the app developers. You can find their contact information using the steps outlined in the following article.

Have a great day!
