No it is not...
DetectX is the troubleshooting tool for your Mac. The only troubleshooting app that runs on every version of OS X from 2011 to present and that allows you to: Fix problems: - Use the Detector View to find and trash the hidden and not-so-hidden files belonging to apps and processes that can be responsible for performance problems.

Oh yes, Apple's is completely different, Apple's is XProtect...
Hm????
That is kind of Strange, The www.detectX.com
ist not recognised by Safari.
The link you have showed in you reply is pointing to a different domain https://sqwarq.com/detectx/ That raises a Red Flag 🚩 to me. All searches I have done for detectX are connected with some kind of warnings. No thanks.
I guess there is a big difference between the Apple XDetect vs. yours conectX
Anyways am not convinced with your recommendation.
Okay, Thanks for the info, can you please explain where I can download this DetectX App? I can't find it in the Apple store
thanks
