How do i disable predictive text from iphone and ipad

I am trying to disable predictive text from my iPad and my new iPhone 12 mini. I tried months ago with Apple support and they couldn’t figure it out and suggested I do a factory reset. That did nothing to fix the issue. I have turned predictive text off on both devices. It does not help. I’ve rebooted after. I’ll yelled at them, “Come on!” to no avail. I just want it to stop. I never had this issue on my iPhone 6 after I disabled predictive text. The suggested words are absurd:When I typed dog ear, it suggested vaginal yeast infection.
