Apple TV 3rd Gen error code

i found my apple tv but it needs to be restored. whenever i try using itunes the error code 1661 keeps coming. sometimes error code 9 or 14 come too. ive tries Mac, PC, different networks.

whats the solution?

Restore your Apple TV - Apple Support

Be sure to be using a generic USB cable that supports data transfer. Some USB cables originally bundled with other devices may be for charging only.
Be sure to power the Apple TV (3rd generation) at the indicated moment.

Restoring doesn’t do much for remote control.

You can buy a replacement remote if that is what you need.
