I have a 1st gen IPad Pro 12.9 inch. I am looking to replace my keyboard, with either an Apple or aftermarket version. I don’t see any keyboards listed anymore for 1st gen. What generation keyboard would be compatible with my IPad Pro? Thanks for any suggestions.

Apple does not make the smart keyboard cover the the older model/design iPad Pros, any longer.
You need to look for the Apple keyboard cover for the 2015-2017, 12.9 inch iPad Pro models, elsewhere.
Other third party keyboard covers or cases may still, also, be available, elsewhere.

Thanks for your response. I was afraid that the only compatible keyboards would be ones that specified 2015 to 2017. Somewhat sad that those of us that jumped in and purchased the IPad Pro when it first came out and supported this new Apple venture, should be forgotten in 4 years, practically making the iPad unusable, if a keyboard is a necessity. I certainly will be needing luck, as replacement keyboards are pretty rare for these models.
2015/2016 iPad Pro are 5 and 6-years old. NOT 4.
I purchased my first 12.9 inch screen, 2015 iPad Pro in Nov. 2015.
My later 2016 12.9 inch screen iPad Pro was purchased in 2018, when pricing for these older 2016, 12.9 inch screen iPad Pro models, dropped considerably.
My 2016 model has 256 GBs of internal data storage ( approx. 230 GBs of usable intenal data storage space ).
This is the one i use the most and still has better battery life.
Thanks again. I just found one on Amazon in the US. I’m an American citizen currently assigned to the EU. There are NO compatible keyboards to be found over here. I purchased my IPad Pro in late 2016…I believe they were still in production up to June 2017. In any event, my Ipad has served me well, and I only have about 1/3 of the storage capacity used. I didn’t want to trash it because I couldn’t find a keyboard…I’m a typist, and find the virtual keyboard unpleasant at best. Anyway, thanks again for all your help.
Thanks. I’ll remember that in the future. I’ve bee using a Logitech Create keyboard for the past few years, and have really enjoyed it. I was trying to purchase another…and finally found one on Amazon US, thanks to your links. Good to know that any bluetooth keyboard will work, for the future.
You can always get a normal, adjustable iPad case and use a seperate Bluetooth keyboard.
ANY stand alone Bluetooth keyboard will work with that iPad.
There are plenty of these. Even ones that are backlit.
