My ssd portable Seagate drive works well with my IPhone 6s. It is not working on my IPad (6th generation). The drive is not showing up in my Files. Is there someway I can rectify this problem? Thanks

Hi Juniorfromkin,
Welcome to the Apple Community, where some of us do our best to help each other troubleshoot.
Apple support have an article online that may help you:
Connect external storage devices to iPad:
says:
External hard drives often require an external power source when used with iPad. If an external hard drive doesn’t supply its own power, and your iPad has a USB-C or Thunderbolt / USB 4 connector, you can use a powered USB hub. If your iPad has a Lightning connector, you can use the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter connected to a USB power adapter.

Hope this helps you :-)

For iPad:
It seems you can use the Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter connected to a USB power adapter.
or
you can use a powered USB hub.
If that is not working for you:
You might want to click the "Get Support" link to Apple at rop right on this discussion page,

I used this Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter with my iPhone and it worked but when I use it with my iPad it’s not working. Thanks
