Rotate Text Box in Photos on Mac

How do I rotate the text box when editing a photo? I'm trying to use the text box to fill in a sign that my students help. When text box clicked on it will only make it larger or move up, down, right or left. I need it to rotate at an angle at times to match up with the sign.

Hi

Sorry - that's not possible in photos.

You can rotate the photo first, then add the text, then rotate back (to get vertical text) but that is all.

If you need more control, you may need to drag into pages or keynote, and add the text there.
