Dual Monitor Setup

How do I connect my Macbook Pro to 2 monitors that don't have thunderbolt ports.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Apple only produces an adapter when they have something special to add.


In the case of many adapters for third-party displays, appropriate adapters have been left for aftermarket developers to make and sell.


Your ThunderBolt-capable ports use a USB-C connector, that can be customized for MANY different purposes, such as a Displayport adapter/cable like this one:
