Iphone 12 pro max zoom camera issues

I have an iPhone 12 pro max. The 12.5 times zoom usually works very well providing crisp images. However, every now and then, in equivalent light conditions, it does not appear able to focus and the shot is unusable, Does anyone else have this issue?

The shots are in ambient light in good light conditions. The issue comes and goes.

Apple support did a device check on line and all is ok

The lens does not have grease or similar on it, it is clean,

iPhone 12 Camera Zoom Issue Hi folks! My iPhone 12 has developed an issue with its zoom on the camera. If I open the camera as normal, the picture is very, very blurred at 1x. If I click 0.5x, it’s clear but obviously very distant from the subject of the photo. If I zoom in manually, it gets to 0.9x no problem but then goes blurry when it gets to 1.0x. I don’t have a phone case, I have tried to clean the lens numerous times in and restarted multiple times. It’s definitely a software rather than a hardware issue. any ideas guys?

iphone 11 pro focus issues after ios 15.4.1 My iPhone 11 Pro camera no longer focuses properly in still pictures or videos after the iOS 15.4.1 update. The image on my phone screen will either rapidly flicker between 2 different zoom levels, or it will simply show a blurry I image. Occasionally it will lock into focus. This problem occurs when I try to set focus using my finger as well. is anyone else experiencing this issue? I saw another thread of an iPhone 12 user having this same issue. We need a software fix!!!!

iPhone 12 Pro zoom out poor quality I haven’t managed to take a single picture on my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the ultra wide lens that looks sharp - literally every one looks soft once you zoom past full screen, even slightly. In good light too. I either have a faulty iPhone or the ultra wide is just garbage - anyone else have the same issue? Don't get me wrong, the standard camera is excellent, low light amazing etc. but the wide lens looks like it uses plastic instead of coated glass. The tele lens is fine too.
