I am trying to order and when I get all the way through, including trade-in, I'm told that the watch is not available for delivery or pickup and there is no BUY button. All I could do is save it in favorites.

Apple has not told us yet. All they have said is this "Fall". As Fall just started it could be anywhere within the next 3 months.
