rename a device

I have a computer that is named "___'s Macbook Pro (2)" but it's actually a Macbook Air. How can I rename it in my Devices list?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.5

Device Names How do I rename a device? It is a MacMini and when my data were migrated from the MacBook Pro that was destroyed by a bad battery the new MacMini took on the name MacBookPro. I find this confusing. I have followed the Help instructions and cannot find my way to a solution. I do not see a Rename Device option, by any name.

On the MacBook Air go to Apple menu > System Preferences > Sharing > Computer Name and change it there.
