Permissions request dialogue boxes won’t dismiss
I just recently installed a fresh copy of macOS Big Sur on my 2016 MacBook Pro. I am having trouble when I install new applications. For example, while installing Quicken I received the following dialog box: Quicken would like to access files in your desktop folder. There are two options;Don’t allow, and OK. The problem is no matter what I click, the dialog box will not go away. I have had the same problem installing multiple applications. Can anybody shed any light on why this is happening and how I can get rid of this pesky dialog box short of logging out of the computer and logging back in
