Why isn’t my email updating on my iPhone or iPad

Tried all the fixes and none worked (issue started after updating IPad to OS 15). My email works on my iPad mini and iPhone. Just did a reset on the iPad with the issue and have attempted to set up email. At this point it has been in the ‘verifying’ mode for several minutes.
