13-inch, 2020, with Four Thunderbolt 3 ports. The left two Thunderbolt 3 ports are not working..

Purchased mid July, my 13-inch, 2020, with Four Thunderbolt 3 ports.

The left two Thunderbolt 3 ports are not working. Is anyone aware of any common issues, or am I just the lucky one?

Both rebooting and resetting NVRAM/PRAM redefine port definition.

Intel Macs only

resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)

M1 Macs— equivalent - Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal

and Try a SafeBoot  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262Reboot as normal to test

If no resolve you can suspect a hardware issue:

Can you run the user Diagnostic...not as definitive as Apple's own AST2 (Apple Service Toolkit) back bench diagnostic, but may kick out an error code.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac

Or take it in—

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test /assessment
