I bought a silicone case for my iPhone 11 from a private vender. I noticed the serial number printed on the back of the box is different from the number inside the case. Does it sound right?
Is that possible the case I bought is a fake iPhone case?

We understand that you've purchased a silicone case for your iPhone but the serial number on the case doesn't match the serial number on the box it came in. The serial numbers should match.
To ensure that you're receiving genuine Apple products, we'd recommend that you purchase them via the Apple Online Store, and Apple Store or though an Apple Authorized Reseller.

Definitely, there is a possibility that the private vender replaced the original one which was in the box with the other one.
