How do I fix Chrome being managed by organization

Hi, good day. I've tried the malwarebytes free app and it has quarantined the file and restarted the laptop but Chrome is still being managed. Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you. I'm using the M1 Macbook Pro and I've tried deleting and downloading Chrome again and again whilst deleting all history.

Download and run the free version of Malwarebytes. It was developed by a long time contributor to these forums and a highly respected member of the computer security community.

See what it finds and removed. Then reboot and try Chrome again.

Here's some food for thought: Chrome is known to be a big system resource hog and data miner, sending your information back to Google. If you value your privacy you might want to consider using Safari or Firefox instead. Both are more secure.

Thank you for answering but this is my personal Macbook. I was just looking at my Chrome settings one day because the Search engine suddenly changed from google to yahoo, and I saw that it's "being managed by an organization"

I don't know what an Adware is. I've searched through my files and it seems like there's nothing suspicious (or I could just be not looking hard enough)

Yes something was removed with the help of Malwarebytes.
