MS TEAMS Chat answering on Carplay vs. Android Auto

I switched from Android phone to iPhone. When I was plugged the droid into my truck and used Android Auto, I would get notification of a chat in TEAMS. I was able to have it read, and then was asked if I wanted to respond. It would then send my response to the TEAMS channel/chat. Now with my iPhone and using Carplay, I get a notification and can hear the chat, but I don't have the option to respond. Is that something that Apple Carplay doesn't support in TEAMS? Or is there a setting I can't figure out? Weird that Android Auto would have it but not Carplay. Thanks!
