I forgot the password to my school ipad

If your device is managed by your school (sounds like it is as you mention school "surveillance"), you'll need to contact them to restore your access.

Hello ~ Perhaps it would be best to take it to the responsible body at your school and have them enable it for you. Everyone makes mistakes :)
