Why does digital touch start lagging on my iPad while I’m still writing or drawing?
It has just stated recently. With Apple Pencil or with finger, after a few lines on the next stroke I move the pen without creating a line and the after a lag I get a straight line that then shrinks. No problem with other drawing apps.

Thank you Eric. I’m on the latest 14.7.1 and I don’t know of a way to delete and reload Messages. I think it started with an iPadOS update but I’m not sure. The problem is with both Apple Pencil as well as with finger so I don’t think it’s a pencil problem. It’s a bummer because I used DigitalTouch a lot and now it’s just too frustrating. I’ve seen other posts of the same problem but no answers.
