Hey all,

I found a great deal from MicroCenter selling MacBook Pro 13 for $999 which is better deal than education pricing.

Will Apple Store match this price if I want to buy MBP from apple store?

I doubt it, but only the Apple Store you're thinking of buying from can tell you for certain. Ask them.

That's because it is the old Macbook Pro with the Core Duo processor. They are dumping them at a cutrate. You wont even be able to find that one at the Apple Store anymore.

That's incorrect, the model Micro Center is selling for $999 is the current base model 13" MBP.

Here is the link, put 1 in your basket to reveal the price.

However that being said, no Apple does not price match. Where one purchases from is totally up to them, they just have to judge the plus's and minus's of each reseller including Apple. There is more to buying than just the price, there are things like pre and post sale service that are very difficult to judge.
