How do I edit a document on my ipad

I have a résumé saved on my iPad in my documents as a PDF how do I edit it I need to add words but I cannot figure out how to edit it

You don't. Not without spending money for something like Acrobat Pro.


The whole point of a PDF is that it can't be easily modified.


Find the original document that was used to create the PDF in the first place and make your modifications to that then generate a new updated PDF file you can distribute.


If you no longer have the original, copy and paste the text into something like Pages or Word.
