Omron Connect blood pressure monitor is showing Inactive in Apple Health

I saw some questions from other users that were having the same problem, but for some reason I cannot reply to them. If you are experiencing this same issue, here is what worked for me:

On the Omron app, hit the + between History and Insights

Select Profile

Select App Settings

Share data with other Apps

Select Apple Health

hit Link

after you Sync, the data should show up in Apple Health.
