Wondering if the camera is blurry in apps like FaceTime / Photo Booth etc., or just when taking photos, ?

Eg:

If you have software apps such as "motion" ensure the "blur": filter is not in use.

If the blur is when you use the Photos App:

Adjust a photo’s light, exposure and more in Photos on Mac
