My iMac no longer asks for touch ID when logging in

Hello,

This change happened overnight. One day it was working, the other it, it wasn't. When logging in I can no longer log in with touch ID. I have to enter my password when I login.

I have checked the touch ID settings and 'unlocking your Mac' is ticked. I have also checked user and groups, login options and automatic login is off.

iMac is up to date - Big Sur V11.5.2

The iMac is pretty new. Touch ID was useable for about 2 weeks before disappearing from the login screen.

Any advice appreciated.

Not really sure whats gone wrong here.
