hi, I recently bought a new iPad Air 4 and noticed that there is a lag in unlocking with the Touch ID at times. It works fine most of the times, but it lags sometimes, and very rarely if ever if wont accept the Touch ID to authenticate and will ask for my pin. I have done a hard reset, reset the device to factory settings but having the same issue. does anyone else have a similar problem? any fix or do I need to take it to the apple store?

Nice work isolating the issue down. If you restored to factory settings, did you set it up as a new iPad? If so, then it might be best to bring it in for an inspection at your local service center.
