I have my details on one of my old iPhone 6. I would like to factory reset it before I give it away. I have tried doing that over my laptop iTunes but it will not accept the older version. Please help me factory reset since I forgot the passcode.

Since you have forgotten the passcode, the only thing you can do is restore the phone using these instructions....
