Apple ID

I had been having a lot of difficulty accessing my Apple ID for any purpose. After spending hours on the phone with a great, but unfortunately, not very helpful Apple service personnel, I still could not use it. So I created a new one. BIG mistake, didn’t know it then. Now I am unable to access all of my iCloud storage and my paid subscriptions. There are a few I need to manage n I’m paying for storage I can’t use!

Is there any way to return to my previous ID and just change the password? Or am I stuck with my current new one. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

Thank you for your prompt reply but I’ve actually tried that but I keep getting an error message to the effect of invalid something or other. I don’t have it right in front of me.

Apple did send me a link to reset my password but this was not long after I had switched to my new one. I’ve tried the “switch to another account” link but when I do and try to change my password, it goes right back to my newest Apple ID.
