own a MacBook Pro 15 from mid-2009

got my SSD from Samsung 850 Evo

removed from my Windows PC

still installed on it, Windows 10

built into the Mac

and to my amazement it ran Windows on it

SSD removed and connected to the laptop

Formatted SSD

built into the MacBook again

a bootable USB stick connected

to install High Sierra

still starts anyway

Windows "Diagnosing the PC" is automatic repair of Windows. Although I actually deleted it.

tried all possible keyboard shortcuts

but it doesn't recognize my usb stick

it only shows the ssd

I just don't know what to do next

How do I get macOS onto the hard drive that Windows was on?
