How do I set my iPhone 8 to vibrate when the "Timer" expires (NOT an alarm)?

Why can't the iPhone Timer be used on a vibrate-only mode? The alarm can do it but there is no way to do this on the timer. I'd love to know why. It's surely a relatively simple bit of programming so there is a decision behind this... I'm using it for time reminders in meetings where audio playing isn't an option. Yes, there are 3rd party apps but it would be preferable to do natively.

How to set vibration to interval rather than continuous ? How to set vibration notification to interval rather than continuous which potentially damage iphone by ① overheating ② battery drain yesterday, i didn’t pick up incoming call, my phone app failed stop ringing & vibrating for more than45 minutes until i can close app manually. is it possible to end continous or change to intervals ?

The only suggestion I have seen is to tap on Tone Store and buy a silent alarm tone for £0.99

Whether it still "haptics" I don't know, I've never bought it.
