this happened to my 2019 MBP roughly 6 months ago... woke up one morning to an effectively dead laptop. It wouldn't power on and battery was not charging despite trying all 4 ports and ordering two different charging cables.

After doing some in-depth research, I concluded that my logic board either needed to be repaired or replaced entirely. my one-year warranty had literally expired 6 days prior and i hadn't purchased apple care because (1) I've owned 8 macbooks over the years, purchased apple care for 6 out of the 8 and never had to use it, and (2) a $3,500 quality machine shouldn't fail. end rant.

to have the logic board replaced by apple would have cost me $1700, so taking it to the apple store or some authorized service provider was out of the question.

I took it in to a computer repair shop that specialized in apple products. they quickly confirmed that it was indeed the logic board that needed to be repaired. I picked it up a week and a half later and asked what was so "faulty" about my logic board. the technician said they honestly had no idea and that he'd never seen anything like it.

so long story long. it may not be your logic board, but it's a very strong possibility.

good luck!!
