the older version of Instagram won’t install on my phone version 11.4.1
other apps old versions are being downloaded but when I try to download the older version of Instagram it says “app cannot be installed at this time” or something like that. What can I do?

There are no options, you can only update to the latest version. You do have an iPhone 6s or you wouldn't be presented that version. Go ahead and do the update.
Update your iPhone.
If you have a 6 series you can update to iOS 12.5.4.
If you actually have a 6s it can update to iOS 14.7.1 and iOS 15 when it is released.
I don’t know where you looked but they are wrong.
I downloaded the latest iOS and tried to install but it wouldn’t install everything was in place . Space fully charged battery I tried it more than twice then I did some research on google and then I saw that it says the latest version is not compatible so it won’t install

Okay thank you but it doesn’t give the option of updating to a 12.5.4 it just shows whatever latest version is available
