I have Apple TV HD (Model number: A1625) and the MakoTV app subscription. how do I Airplay the content from MakoTV to the AppleTV (or add it to connected apps )?

Not sure why you would want to AirPlay, if you can install the app on your Apple TV box. Download apps on your Apple TV - Apple Support

Only select apps in a few countries are available to be connected to the Apple TV app.
