Finding Apple ID contact information

I need to find the apple I.d that is being used by a u.s phone number. This person scammed an elderly family member using this us phone number ***. The messages were sent via iMessage the local police where notified and a police report was filed. unfortunately we live in a society where these crimes are reported but never followed up on or worked on. If anyone knows a way to be able to bring these fraudsters/thieves to justice it will be a great help in stoping future elderly fraud from happening. The phone number was masked due to privacy reasons if anyone can help please feel free to reply thank you.

We understand a family member was targeted by a scam or phishing attempt, and you want to be sure every necessary action is taken.

Reporting the incident to local law enforcement was definitely the correct step to take. As an Apple ID address is personal information, that's not something that members of the support community or Apple would be able to provide. That said, it should also be noted that phone numbers can be spoofed, or impersonated and may not provide helpful information in identifying the perpetrator.

In addition to contacting law enforcement, you can also report occurrences like this to the Federal Trade Commission if you're in the U.S., by visiting: reportfraud.ftc.gov
