What device? The offer from Apple is open for buying a new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac from Apple or from an Apple Authorized Reseller.
When did you buy it? The offer has to be redeemed within the first 3 months. After that, the offer is no longer available to redeem.
For devices activated on or after July 1st, the duration of the extended trial is no longer a year.
